News: Huawei Teases P20 Announcement Date in New Videos
It looks like the Huawei P20 has moved from rumor to all but confirmed. Thanks to a series of YouTube videos released by Huawei Mobile Netherlands, we now have a few confirmations about the latest entries in the flagship series.The four promotional videos all focus on the camera which, is rumored to include the first triple-lens setup for smartphones. While the video doesn't show the hardware, each video title gives us some indication of its capabilities รข€” including great low-light performance, optical image stabilization, fast shutter speed, and machine learning enhancements. We also know that the phone will be co-designed by Leica, a high-end camera company.
Additionally, each video ends with the date of March 27, 2018, the rumored (and now confirmed) announcement date for the new P series lineup. We're also greeted with the official name of the device, Huawei P20, which deviates slightly from the previous naming scheme.Finally, the website NewRenaissance.com is displayed, which takes you a Huawei page with the promotional videos and testimony of satisfied Huawei customers. In the testimony, each person talks about why they love Huawei devices and what things they wish were included in their phone, specifically highlighting features that are included in the P20 lineup.Are you excited about the P20 announcement?
